Obituary of WAYNE J. FUNK
Wayne J. Funk, 68, Towanda, died Dec. 22, 2000, in Towanda.
He was born May 14, 1932, in Hillsboro, the son of Solomon and Esther (Jansen) Funk. He was a truck driver and had served in the U.S. Army. 
He was preceded in death by his wife, Catherine.
Survivors include son, Timothy Funk of Little Rock, Ark.; daughters, Nancy Hampton of Derby, Becky Davis of McClouth and Laura Kelley of Wichita; brother, Allen Funk of Hillsboro; sisters, Rose Voth of Hesston and Elsie Coe of Hillsboro; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Dec. 27 at Lakeview Funeral Home Chapel in Wichita. Burial will be at Lakeview Crematory in Wichita. A memorial has been established with the Humane Society.
