| Obituary of WAYNE J. FUNK |
| Wayne J. Funk, 68, Towanda, died Dec. 22,
2000, in Towanda. He was born May 14, 1932, in Hillsboro, the son of Solomon and Esther (Jansen) Funk. He was a truck driver and had served in the U.S. Army. He was preceded in death by his wife, Catherine. Survivors include son, Timothy Funk of Little Rock, Ark.; daughters, Nancy Hampton of Derby, Becky Davis of McClouth and Laura Kelley of Wichita; brother, Allen Funk of Hillsboro; sisters, Rose Voth of Hesston and Elsie Coe of Hillsboro; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Services will be held at 2 p.m. Dec. 27 at Lakeview Funeral Home Chapel in Wichita. Burial will be at Lakeview Crematory in Wichita. A memorial has been established with the Humane Society. |
