| Obituary of WERNER BURHOOP |
| Werner Burhoop, 91, rural Herington
retired farmer-stockman, died May 29, 2000, at Herington Municipal
Hospital. Born May 29, 1909, at Hammelwarden, Germany, he came to the United States in 1930. His first wife, Johanna Barr Burhoop, died April 24, 1961. He was married to his wife, Christa, Aug. 25, 1964, at Herington. She survives. Other survivors include one son, Enno Burhoop, Burdick; one daughter, Inge Frimont, Oldenburg, Germany; and seven grandchildren. He was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church, Lincolnville, where services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday. The Rev. Alan Stahlecker will be the officiating clergyman. Burial will be in the Lincolnville Cemetery. A prayer service has been scheduled at 7 p.m. Friday in Brockmeier Funeral Chapel, Herington. A memorial has been established in his name at the church in Lincolnville. |
