| Obituary of SUSIE GEISBRECHT |
| Susie Giesbrecht, 92, retired homemaker,
died Jan. 15 at Hillsboro Community Medical Center Long Term Care Unit. Services will be held at 10 a.m., Jan. 22, at Hillsboro Memorial Chapel, with pastor Duane Pettipiece officiating. Burial will be at Hillsboro Mennonite Brethren Cemetery. She was born March 20, 1907, to Jacob Klein and Margaretha Franzen in Peabody. On June 16, 1935, she was married to Dan Giesbrecht, who predeceased her. Survivors include daughters, Beulah Smith of Houston, Texas, and Carrol Pettipiece and husband Duane of Spokane, Wash.; daughter-in-law, Valeta Giesbrecht of Houston; seven grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren. A memorial fund has been established for Wichita Rescue Mission. |
