| Obituary of MARGARET ECK MILLER |
| Margaret Eck Miller, 76, homemaker, died
Jan. 26 at Parkside Homes, Hillsboro. Services were held Jan. 29 at Durham Baptist Church, with pastor Richard Curtis officiating. Burial was at Durham Park Cemetery. She was born April 1, 1923, to Joseph Eck and Eva Koehn in Meno, Okla. On June 9, 1946, she was married to LaVern Miller, who survives her. She is also survived by two sons, Marlin of Wichita and Norman Joe of Newton; two daughters, Marlene Herzet of Hillsboro and Ruth Ann Monares of Newton; two brothers, Detrick Eck of Newton and Paul Eck of Elk Falls; four sisters, Melinda Guhr of Newton, Eva Lena Suderman of Newton, Marie Matz of Wichita and Lilian Gunnels of Goddard; six grandchildren, three step-grandchildren and two step-great-grandchildren. A memorial fund has been established for Parkside Homes. |
