Obituary of GEORGE WINDLER
George Windler, 79, former resident of the Olpe community, died March 22, 2000, at his home in Wichita.

He was president of WBW Contractors, Wichita.
The son of Anton Christopher and Rosa W. Matilda (Alber) Windler, he was born March 29, 1920, at Olpe.

Survivors include his wife, the former Lila Lee Byram whom he married Jan. 2, 1949; son, Greg Windler, Wichita; two daughters, Rita Barrron, Wichita, and Rhonda Stanley, Haysville; sister, Lydia Hinrichs, Emporia; and three grandchildren. Ola Pracht is a sister-in-law.

Services were held March 25 at Broadway Mortuary, Wichita, with graveside services at Cedar Point Cemetery.
