I'm looking for information about my gg-grandparents Clement B. DUSTIN (b. abt. 1830 Vermont, d. 16 Feb 1907 Leavenworth, KS), Marietta (surname unknown, b. 6 Mar 1838 Toledo, OH), and their children:
Edward C. (b. 1856 Janesville, Wisconsin), Elmer E. (b. abt. 1861 Kansas),
Mettie I. (b. abt. 1868 Kansas), Emily Clementine (b. 18 Jul 1872 Kansas), and Edna N. (b. abt. 1877 Kansas).

The family moved to Leavenworth from Wisconsin in 1858. I believe that Marietta must have died sometime before 1900, because only Clement appears in the 1900 census.

I found an entry for Edward in Cutler's History of the State of Kansas. However, except for my g-grandmother Emily, I know very little about the rest of the family.

Emily married my g-grandfather Fred Monroe RICHARDSON, who worked at the Leavenworth Bag Manufacturing Company. My grandfather Fred Monroe RICHARDSON, Jr. was born in Leavenworth 3 Nov 1893. The family moved to Chicago sometime between 1900 and 1910.

I am searching for information regarding John Francis McNamara. He was born in 1875 and died in 1950. His wife, Helen Theresa (Nell) Keane was born 1880 and died 24 Nov 1954. They married in Leavenworth, KS on 24 May 1905 and are buried in Mount Calvary Cemetery in Leavenworth. They had three children:
William (Bill) Francis McNamara b: 22 Apr 1906, d: 20 Nov 1983-CA, buried M. C. Cem. Leavenworth.
Mary Margaret McGrath (McNamara) b: 27 Jan 1909, d: 10 Sep 1980-CA, buried in CA.
John Joseph McNamara b: 8 Jun 1911, d: 4 Nov 1990-CA, buried M. C. Cem, Leavenworth.

I would appreciate any information on these family members.

Am researching Rollie Harvey and his ancestors and descendents. Please contact me. I have lots of info, but would especially love to make contact with descendents of Tom Harvey. This family lived in and around Leavenworth and Bonner Springs, Kansas at the turn of the century. Tom was born abt. 1909. He had a sister named Loretta and two half-sibling brothers named Harry and Allison.

Hello there. My name is Cathy Harless Merritt and I am a descendant of Sylvanus Harless. He died January 3rd, 1886 and it is reported that he was buried at Kickapoo, Leavenworth County, Kansas. From the Coroner report, he was released into the hands of family & friends on the 4th of January, 1886. From a Military Form of depositions, it is stated that he was buried in Kickapoo, Leavenworth County, Kansas. He did not have a stone. I have been searching for his gravesite for quite awhile now and I can not find it. I was told that he was living in Kickapoo, Kansas at the time of his death even though he died in Kansas City, Kansas visiting relatives at the time.

I do know that his Mother-in-law, a Martha Ward was living in Kickapoo/Leavenworth area at the time. Is it possible that she owned property and Sylvanus Harless was buried on her property? Wouldn't there have been a record kept?

Can you please help me to find my Great Grandfather's burial site. He was a Civil war veteran and I'd like to honour him with providing a tombstone.

I sure would appreciate any help that you'd be willing to offer. I look forward to hearing back from you....thank you so much.

Located an H. G. Parker's death Dec 31, 1918 in Kansas's death records. Appears to be our Hiram G. Parker, same dob & p. Would appreciate it if someone has access to obituaries if they would confir, and copy of obit. Looking for information on the death on Donald Doyle, operator of the American Printing Company, believed to have crashed his plane in Ohio during the mid 1950's. Donald Doyle is believed to be from the Leavenworth area.

information on Jared M. Hord who was admitted to Western Branch National Home for Disabled Volunteer Soldiers in Leavenworth Kansas in May 1902. He died September 10,1902 at that place. No burial information available but would appreciate any information on Jared.
