She moved to Bucklin, Kansas with her parents in about 1882, married Van VAN VOORHIS in about 1891 and raised a large family (8 or 9 children). She was shown in Bucklin on the 1930 U.S. Census. I would assume she passed away in Bucklin. I am seeking information about her passing and where she is buried. Also, would be interested in stories/pictures. I would be more than willing to trade research for same in the Spokane/Seattle/Portland area.

I would like to put a query on the site for obituary look-ups, it that's appropriate. The look-up would be for Bert TRAVIS and Gordon VAN VOORHIS, both buried in Bucklin Cemetery. Bert died February 27, 1947, Gordon in Jan 1993. I would gladly trade efforts - I have access to archived Los Angeles, New York, Seattle, Spokane and Portland papers. I am also close to the NW facility of the National Archives. (I believe Bert was Jennie VAN VOORHIS' brother and Gordon her son). Thanks again,
