Researching descendants of Kansas Belle Williams and Isaac Edward Lineback. Belle was so named because her parents, Milton Williams and Delilah Jeffrey believed her to be the first white girl born in Coffey County, Kansas. Part of the family story can be found in "The Story of an Early Kansas Pioneer" written by a descendant of Belle's. The Kansas Historical Library used to have a copy.
My father, Thomas Glennon, son of Thomas & Bridget(Cashman) Glennon was baptized at St. Patrick's Church, Emerald in Feb 1890. Where is Emerald? Is it now Williamsburg or Waverly? Are there census records from 1877-1890? Civil birth records? Any help will be appreciated. The family moved to Chickasaw Indian Territory in 1890-1891. His brother, Michael's family lived there, also, I think. All the children seemed to have been baptized at St. Patrick's. Thank you very much.
