Obituary of GEORGE WILLETTE ORR
George Orr Services
Here On Friday


George Willette Orr, 68, died suddenly of a heart attack at his home at Rock last evening at 5:45 o'clock. Mr. Orr had made a business trip to Douglass during the day. He was a brother-in-law of Frank, Ed and Charley Varner of Augusta and had other relatives here.

Mr Orr was born at Cisne, Ill., November 26, 1872. His first wife, Mary A. Orr, died June 20, 1924. He later married to Mrs. Ella Varner McDougal on September 4, 1926 in Henderson, Ky., who survives him. Survivors are also his children, Mrs. Lorne Chapman, of Cisne, Ill., and George Lester Orr of Winchester, Ky.; a sister, Mrs. Grace Yates of Rinard, Ill., and five grandchildren.

Mr. Orr came to this county in 1926 from Cisne, Ill. He joined the Christian church at Gunion, Ill. He was a retired farmer.

Funeral services will be held Friday at 2 p. m. at the dunsford chapel in Augusta. Rev. George Watts of Douglass, will be in charge. Interment will be in the Elmwood mausoleum. Pall bears will be residents of Rock.
