Funeral Card of WILLIAM RADKE
William Radke, 1658 Maple St., passed away at his home in Russell Monday morning (21 October 1974) at the age of 78 years, 8 months and 8 days. The son of Johonn and Christine (Zeiman) Radke, he was born February 13, 1896, in Barton County and was baptized February 17, 1896, and confirmed March 27, 1910, at the United Emanuel Lutheran Church in Milberger. On November 14, 1919, he was united in marriage to Ida Karst in the Lutheran Church in Milberger.

A retired farmer and lifelong resident of Russell County, he was known in the Russell and Barton County areas. He and his wife moved to Russell from the farm in 1969.

He is survived by his wife, Ida, of the home; two sons, Harvey E., Russell and Marvin L., Milan, Tennessee; two daughters, Mrs. William (Dorlene) Steele, Dodge City and Mrs. Otto (Lorene) Kahler, Hutchinson; two sisters, Mrs. Ida Brack, Wichita, and Mrs. Lena Morgenstern, Great Bend; 13 grandchildren and four great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by three brothers and five sisters.

Church, Milberger, Kansas, Rev. Robert Kreier officiating.
