Obituary of PAUL NUSS
Paul Nuss, 69, Rt. 2, Russell, died Friday morning (12 October 1979) at the Central Kansas Medical Center in Great Bend after a long illness. Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. today at the Emmanuel American Lutheran Church in Milberger, of which he was a member. 

Pastor Robert Kreier will officiate. Burial will be in the Milberger Cemetery.

A memorial in Mr. Nuss' name has been established with the church.  Friends may call at Nicholson-Ricke Funeral Home, Hoisington, which is in charge of arrangements, on Saturday from 4 until 9 p.m., on Sunday from 9 a.m. until 9 p.m., and on Monday at the church from 11 a.m. until the time for the service.

Mr. Nuss was born July 20, 1910, in Russell County. A retired farmer, he was a lifetime resident of Milberger community. He married Rachel Popp on June 18, 1933 at Milberger.

He is survived by his wife, Rachel, of the home; a son, Norman, Russell; a daughter, Mrs. Dean (Wilmetta) Deutsch, Larned; a brother Edward, Russell; two sisters, Mrs. Guy (Amelia) Nettleingham, Hoisington, and Mrs. Rachel Wiedeman, Russell; and four grandchildren.
