White man. Sentenced June 13, 1911, from Cowley county, to a term of 1 to 7 years for grand larceny. Paroled Dec. 3, 1912. Violated parole Jan. 1, 1913.

Description: Age, 27; height, 5 ft. 9% in.; weight, 172; hair, dark brown; complexion, dark; build, stout; eyes, blue; nativity, Nebraska. Occupation, common laborer.

Marks and scars: I. Upper arm deformed from being broken. III. Eyebrows united. Small vertical scar right side forehead. Oval-shaped white scar at inner and lower margin of left shoulder blade, 2 1/2 in. to left of spinal column.

Relatives: Henry and Annie Ward, Osage City, Kan., parents.
