Marks and scars: 1. Tattoo in blue and red of parott, on forearm, outer. Large vaccine scar on upper arm, outer. Cut scar in palm of hand. II. Small vertical scar on back of hand.

Tattoo in blue and red of cross, anchor and initials "A. I." and name "Evans" on forearm. III. Eyebrows united. Small scar 3 in. above left ear.

Relative: W. H. Penfold, Denver, Colo., mother.
