THE CLYDE REPUBLICAN, 26 June 1913
Obituary of JOSEPH H. FRY
Joseph H. Fry was born in Winchester Virginia Oct 19, 1828 and moved to Seneca Co. OH when he was 6 years old. At the age of 17 he was left to take care of the family by the death of his father.

On Oct. 10, 1850 he was united in marriage to Elizabeth Ellen Manning, with whom he lived in peaceful wedlock through the changing scenes of 63 years. They moved to Nebraska April 1859 and resided in Pawnee City twenty years. While living in that City he professed faith in the Lord Jesus Christ and joined the Methodist church helping in the building up of the church at that place. He never moved his membership and always looked toward the place of the scenes of his active life as his real home.

Death released his spirit from the suffering tenement of clay Jun 19, 1913, aged 85 years.

Beside the aged, faithful, life long companion, there are five sons and daughters remaining. Mary Martha Hollingsworth, Denver CO; Chas. S. Fry, Denver CO; Alice B Porter, Denver CO; Alice B porter, Denver CO; Hettie M. McCammon, Otego KS; H. E. Fry, Durango CO.
