Yale, a mining town in Crawford county, is located in Washington township on the Missouri Pacific R. R., 12 miles east of Girard, the county seat. It has general stores, telephone connections, telegraph and express offices, boarding houses, and an international money order postoffice. The population in 1910 was 862.
