Related Organizations

Friends of Kansas Libraries (FoKL) exists to encourage and support new and existing local Friends groups, to facilitate the exchange of useful information among organizations of Friends, and to advocate for excellent library services. Each year, FoKL and KLTA collaborate to present a day of networking and education at Tri-Conference, an annual meeting for Kansas librarians.

School of Library & Information Management, Emporia State University is the only ALA accredited library school in Kansas.

The State Library of Kansas provides leadership to all Kansas libraries.

Kansas Library Association -Promote library and information service to the state of Kansas, librarianship, and cooperation among all types of libraries and organizations concerned with library and information service. It is also KLTA's parent organization

The Canadian Library Trustees´ Association (CLTA), a division of the Canadian Library Association. CLTA is the national voice for public library trustees and exists to foster excellence in public library service, and to stimulate and support excellence in public library trusteeship.

The 7 Regional Library Systems of Kansas serve multi-type libraries across the state.
