• At the State Library’s request, KLTA researches and recommends the voluntary Kansas Trustee Education Program (KanTEP).

• Visionary Leader Libraries funded KanTEP for two years – Bonner Springs, Dodge City, Emporia, Kansas City, Olathe and Topeka-Shawnee
• TrusteeTalk, KLTA’s newsletter, adds a new feature, "KanTEP Continuing Education."
• 650+ members
• 82 institutional members, covering all of their board members
• All 7 regional systems and the four urban libraries are represented on the KLTA board
• 2007 Trustees Friends Day draws over 400 people to eight events. The first-ever Kansas Kaffee Klatch gets kudos
